I am consider to be intelligent by my friends as well as articulate, friendly, compassionate, spiritual. I wish to make friends with those who share my passions for life, Judaism, Israel, family, friends and animals. I feel that my community does not have much to offer for singles of my age group. It would be nice to share hours of intense conversation with others to share and learn. I am a college graduate who has worked in the medical field for many years. I also have taught in Hebrew schools. Long ago I lived in Northern Israel and I long to visit and even live there again. I am seriously planning on making an Aliyah. However, I am not yet ready to go. I am very open minded regarding other people's beliefs and philosophies but I also am very strong in my own beliefs as well. I like children and so if this leads me to somebody who already has children I would treat them with love and respect. It is important that anybody I may match up with be kind to both children and animals. Although I have no children living at home I do have cats, birds and fish. I love dogs and other creatures as well. I once dreamed of becoming a vet. So if you are one I would be a sure bet. As I did mention, I am a college graduate and my background in college also includes archaeology. So if you will, I have much to offer in conversation. My hobbies also include history, trivia, music, travel. I am a very good cook but find it hard to cook for myself only. I favor Israeli, Italian, Chinese, Thai, deli cuseine. I bake a mean challah and a heart stopping cholent.
