A CONNECTION WITH MY PEOPLE Though I'm not regular about Jewish Life I still feel and celebrate the connection with my own--a common thread.Even going into a temple intensifies the feeling.
Brought up in Cleveland, Ohio--having an orthodox grandfather and grandmother, --was Bar Mitzvahed, spent some short time in the Chasidic realm. Never understood what the prayers were for--just words to me at the time. Now being older I see more of the value and importance of such.
I see the wisdom the books of the trade so to speak to be a learned Jew. and the importance of a strong connection with my G-d.
