Interested and Interesting I like to hang around with other Jews, having been raised in a secular Jewish neighborhood in The Bronx and not having learned Hebrew until I was in my 50's. I would describe myself as having a Reform head and an Orthodox/Hasidic heart. That is, I think logically about my religion but like to worship in a more traditional manner. I also know quite a bit about other religions, particularly Christianity and Islam, and like to compare them with Judaism. I'm somewhat a student of history, and like to interpret various aspects of Judaism through this perspective.
