shalom! i was raised as jewish american... definitely american, and totally jewish by culture. i only go to temple on high holidays, and the occasional event. not that i'm opposed, just that it's not part of my weekly routine. i light shabbat candles when kids or those it's important too are around. i always light the hanukkah candles and if kids are in my future, regardless of who i'm with, my kids will only be jews! where are my burner jews, ready to make this real and lasting?!?
