You want the positive or the challenges first? (At least I'm honest.) The positive is that I'm funny, sweet, kind, warm and fuzzy, a great listener, empathetic, helpful and a good person. Also, I am actively working on being better in all ways and will work on it until I die. The same philosophy with learning new things and meeting new people. Not such a looker, but SUCH a pretty face and smile! Challenges: I walk with a walker and can't get up into a van. Love music, exercise, walking, laughing, Toastmaster's pub. speaking, folk singing. My favorite authors are J.A. Vance and Faye Kellerman. Currently, I'm watching "Monk" episodes on Hulu and playing computer games like Scrabble, etc. What I'm looking for a is a partner (friends, first until we know each other), and then if he is a beshert, good and if not, friends, still, right? Once I find my beshert, though, no more dates with anyone else. I want a man who is equally kind, gentle, respectful, a good listener, who can express any emotions with words which are communicative. No blamers, please! I love pets of all kinds except for reptiles. Maybe it's the Genesis factor? Anyway, I wasn't looking for a man until someone at Chabad told me that my beshert may still be out there, and I shouldn't give up. I was pretty happy being independent and taking care of my own self and needs, but it would be kind of nice to have someone to share the twilight years with, no? The last place I went that was fun for me was Tom's Farms. I saw a little baby lamb who was being hand fed a bottle because her mom rejected her. So sweet! I tried to volunteer for the animal shelter, but was told I wasn't a "good fit" (I assume because of my walker). That was very disappointing. Sometimes, I volunteer to help the seniors with Bingo in their rest homes. I've also won many awards for public speaking. When I used to go to college, I got academic awards as well. Currently, I'm a retired special education teacher. You?
