Shalom I was born in Oakland, California in the fall of 1949. I was raised as a reform Jew. I occasionally attend services but I’m definitely more spiritual than religious.
I lived in Israel on two separate occasions. Once for a year on a Kibbutz and three years in Carmiel (in the North past Haifa). This was during the mid 1970's to the early 1980's. It is sad that lasting peace is so elusive.
